This was a super fun day of shooting with Wilkosz & Way (as always) and I am quite happy with the way they turned out.

Loyal Loot
A few months ago I was asked to style a photo shoot for the talented and celebrated design collective Loyal Loot. Their work, which is incredibly beautiful and innovative remains true to the materials used, and references their Canadian heritage. These images will be featured on their new website which will be up soon.

Karen Langley's work as a stylist and Fashion Editor for Dazed & Confused always inspires me. She has a keen eye for texture and balance but isn't afraid to step outside the box.

Action!
Too busy to post this week! I've have been working on the wardrobe and costume for a short fashion film by Director Kaelen Ohm called Heaven. We started shooting today and will finish with an amazing and surreal dream sequence tomorrow. (Seems fitting as the 'end of the world' is also apparently scheduled for tomorrow)
I was commissioned to create a white couture type dress for the second days shots. It was nice to be back in the thimble so to speak as I haven't made anything in quite a while.
Anyway, here are some shots of the dress in progress and a few behind the scene shots from today. I'll have more from tomorrow as well as a proper post explaining what it's for and with all the appropriate credits.

Ready Steady Go!
Yesterday was an amazing collaboration of beauty and talent. Photographer Heather Saitz was inspired to create a Mod-themed creative and organized Keith Murray on make up, Leeandre Choiniere on hair, myself to style and Kaelen Ohm and Rebecca White to model.
It was a super fun day and all but Keith live in our building so you could almost call it a Moxam/Congress production!
Here are some pics I took with my phone. The finished product will be up soon...

Some Logos
These are some logos I designed recently. The Fix My Pants is for my friend Frances's handy mending services.
And this one is for a book club that was established in 2003. I love the name! They go by the Hardbacks for short.

Up There In The Big Big Sky
This is a short film that I did the illustrated credits for. It's written and directed by Ted Stenson, shot by Wilkosz + Way and starring Kaelen Ohm and Eslee See.

Michelle Williams by Mikael Jansson
I love this editorial of Michelle Williams for Interview Magazine shot by Mikael Jansson. More than her cute pixie cut, this reminds me of Rosemary's Baby, quite haunting...
She Said/He Said
We were lucky enough to shoot the incredibly beautiful and charming Mikayla Fritzke from Ford Models Toronto on Friday. The editorial was a denim story that played with feminine and masculine aspects. Alicja Wilkosz was on hair and make up and Jeff and Marta were shooting. Here are some behind the scenes shots of the day. The editorial should be up soon! I'll keep you posted.
