Plaid....in Print!

This just came out in the most recent issue of Plaid Magazine. You can find it at your local newsstand I believe. The featured designer is a New Yorker by way of Canada, Sid Neigum.  Shot by Wilkosz & Way and hair and make -up by Alicja Wilkosz. The models are Hannah Donker and Stephen Kroeger from Mode.

Icons Editorial for Conglomerate Magazine

Fashion Imitating Art

We were asked to shoot an editorial for the upcoming issue of Conglomerate Magazine. The theme is Fashion as Art and Art as Fashion so the five of us had a lot of fun conceptualizing and researching the looks. It was decided that each shot would represent a specific artist so completely different sets and lighting, hair and make-up meant we had our work cut out for us.
Thank goodness we had such amazingly talented models to help us speed the process along.

Into The Light - Plaid Magazine June 2011

Remember that Mansion On The Hill post from a few months back! Well the editorial has been published and here they are.

She Said/He Said

We were lucky enough to shoot the incredibly beautiful and charming Mikayla Fritzke from Ford Models Toronto on Friday.  The editorial was a denim story that played with feminine and masculine aspects. Alicja Wilkosz was on hair and make up and Jeff and Marta were shooting. Here are some behind the scenes shots of the day. The editorial should be up soon! I'll keep you posted.

Mansion on the Hill

Last Sunday the W+W team and I were at it again, this time shooting for Plaid Magazine in Toronto. The location was an amazing 19th Century home in Calgary's Mount Royal. The house is an eclectic combination of eras, each room with a different feel. The current occupants are local artist (and their cats), and were lovely enough to let us take over both floors of their home. The model was Mode's Courtney Killips  and the talented Alicja Wilkosz did the make-up.
